This policy explains what information Fresh Coast Dock & Lift ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to answer your questions and do the work you ask us to do.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you request a quote or contact us, we receive your name, phone number, email, lake or property address, the service you choose and your message.
- Dock designs. If you use the dock designer, your layout is saved in your own browser so it's there when you come back. We only receive it if you choose to include it with a quote request.
- Basic visit statistics. We use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and quote requests. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare quotes and schedule and carry out work.
- To contact you about work you've asked us to do.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the website.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising by other companies.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website: a hosting provider, an email delivery service that sends your quote request to our inbox, and a content system that stores the website's text and photos (not your information). They only process information as needed to provide their service to us. We may also share information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as they're useful for serving you and for our normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. You can clear a saved dock design at any time with "Start over" in the designer or by clearing your browser's site data.
Children
This website is meant for adults and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
